About Us

Antiracist HOCO is a grassroots coalition for educational change. We are dedicated to implementing anti-racism practices in HCPSS and making the Howard County school environment safe, welcoming, and inclusive for all students regardless of their race, gender, sexuality, ability, and/or social class.

Organized by six HCPSS alumni and with the aid of numerous student volunteers, Antiracist HOCO is a mainly student-led effort. Teaming up with other student-led organizations as well as teacher and parent groups, we firmly believe that a unified community-based movement is necessary for creating vital change in HCPSS.
